Not every type of hair thinning responds to regenerative treatment. If your hair changes may have a medical cause, we'll recommend seeing your GP for blood tests before starting.
Hair grows slowly, so changes develop gradually over several months. We review progress with photos at six months.
The scalp may feel tender for a day or so. You can usually wash your hair the next day.
Treatment isn't suitable for everyone. We'll check your history at consultation and be honest if another approach would suit you better.
Dr Aamani is a medical doctor with a special interest in hair and skin health. She leads Hair by Dr Aamani and delivers all PRP treatments at the clinic, for both the scalp and the face. She takes a medical approach to thinning hair: looking at your history and possible causes first, then building a treatment plan that suits you, with honest advice about what to expect. She works alongside Dr Inaya, so your hair and skin care can be planned together.
Yes, each can be booked as a single session at £195. A course combining both is priced lower overall.
If your history suggests your hair changes may have a medical cause, such as low iron or thyroid problems, we'll recommend seeing your GP for tests before starting.
We'll look at your hair and scalp, talk through your options and confirm whether treatment is right for you.
